When I drag a job from the engineer to the un-schedule job (in red) should the job return back to the un-scheduled jobs list?

It will do if it’s the only visit for that job.

If there is more than one it will just remove that specific visit.

To schedule further visits find the job and view its Job Details then press manage job schedule button.
